Dr. Charlotte Boettiger, a Professor and Director of Behavioral and Integrative Neuroscience, is the recipient of a 2022 Research Component in a P60 grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).

The NIAAA P60 Comprehensive Alcohol Research Center Grant program provides leadership in conducting and fostering interdisciplinary, collaborative research on a wide variety of topics relevant to NIAAA’s mission. Centers also are regional or national resources that contribute to the development of new research methods, technologies and approaches that sustain innovative goal-directed research.Dr. Boettiger and her Co-PI, Dr. Donita Robinson were awarded over $1,319,000 (over five years) for their translational project, “Frontolimbic circuitry, behavioral flexibility, and adolescent alcohol history.”
